A holiday, a birthday and a broken wrist

Thankfully not me!!! But sadly ’tis the case for my dear friend Away on a big adventure for a few weeks, the poor love broke her wrist just days into her trip! To add to it all, her birthday occurred while she was away! So upon her return, it was SO LOVELY to catch up. On the up side, her broken bone gave me a cute idea for her birthday gift…….

The poor little cute fairy has her arm in a ‘cast’ too! Hehe. After I took this pic, my DH suggested I ‘signed’ the cast……so I wrote the name of the place my friend ‘holidayed at’ and the year, 2010 My friend has a fab sense of humour so found this little fairy funny *phew*

I had fun colouring in this little princess with my markers. When I’m in the right mood I find colouring quite relaxing and am thankful for outline stamps as seriously, I can’t draw to save my life!  The satin ribbon is just so elegant and although you cannot tell from this pic, it is a vanilla colour on the reverse side. Sadly this gorgeous ribbon will only be with us for another 12 days as it’s part of the “Last Chance” babies, only available until the end of this month. This is also true of the Kiwi Kiss Colour I’ve used. Going! AND the Designer Series Paper I’ve used. Going! Truly happy/sad as fabo products leave but FAB-O NEW products arrive……….it’s an emotional roller coaster I tell you!

Welllllllllllll, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to be able to announce the FIRST EVER winners of my very own BLOG CANDY and BIRTHDAY PROMOTION!! The raffle was drawn by my Miss 4 (almost 5!!) and DH (dear husband) stood in as Independent Auditor ….. oh and we used an IKEA CD box I am trying so hard to work out if I can string this out – you know, build suspense *lol* - but if I were you I would’ve scrolled past my woffle and read the winners already! 17 Sleeps To Go!!!

I was so excited to receive my pre-order for the mini catalogue the other day, amongst other precious goodies!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand what’s more to be receiving stamp sets DIE CUT rather than needing to be trimmed – oh I was in stamp mounting heaven only needing to trim one set down!!! (this particular set has been carried over from the previous catalogue – this will eventually be die cut once Stampin’ Up! have run the current “needing to be trimmed” stock down)

BUT! I had to show you that my Miss 4&1/2 year old also had fun – check out how she amused herself whilst mummy drooled over her new toys……

Lol! How cute is that?!

So here you can see the trimmed bits from Curvy Verses and then the rubber moulds from Pun Fun, Best Yet (Level 1 Hostess set) and……… ah haaaaaaa!!! Yes indeedy! A mini catalogue set!! Heheheheheheeeee……..
